Another Semester has Ended!
Tonight, I officially submitted my final paper of the semester!
With that milestone behind me, I finally have a few months off from school — time I plan to dedicate to finishing the last few items on the Fantasy Uprising BBS.
This semester was no joke: it was challenging, intense, and packed with long nights and what feels like thousands of lines of code. But honestly? It was worth every bit of effort. I’ve learned so much — new techniques, new ideas — and I’m excited to carry that momentum forward into my personal projects.
As many of you know, I’ve been hard at work developing my first door game for Fantasy Uprising 2025. If you’re curious and want to sample what’s already in progress, shoot me an email! I’d love to share how to access it. DM42 is up and running and doing what I envisioned so far — but there’s still so much more to build out. By the time I’m done, DM42 might even evolve into its own stand-alone model.
In fact, while brainstorming the setting for the Daggerford Hallow campaign, I reconnected with some of my old D&D friends, and together we’ve been building out an entirely new world. Want a sneak peek? Head over to https://tharandell.com — this is likely to become the future home of DM42 and our shared creative projects.
For tonight, though, I’m giving myself a well-earned break. After all, I still work 10+ hour days! So before bed, I’m kicking back with some much-needed MechWarrior 5 time. But don’t worry — tomorrow night, it’s right back into working on Fantasy Uprising 2025.
If you’re a gamer, hit me up! Let’s connect on Steam — I’m always up for making new gaming friends.
Happy computing,
Babble Baz
