Still Alive and Still Coding
Wow — I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since my last update. Let me start by saying this loud and clear: this project is not abandoned. Life’s just been throwing fastballs lately, and sometimes that means coding has to take a back seat.
Since my last post, a few big things have happened:
- I helped move my daughter from her student housing into her new “big girl” apartment as she begins her senior year at university. (Proud dad moment! )
- Work has been intense with lots of changes, and my days keep stretching longer and longer.
- A small tornado swept through the woods at our farm — thankfully no damage to the house, but a lot of trees came down. I’ve spent the last few weeks clearing things up out there.
None of this is meant as an excuse — just the honest reality of a solo dev juggling life, code, and a passion project that deserves to be done right. I’m committed to making sure Fantasy Uprising 2025 captures the spirit of the old-school BBS systems we all loved, and I want every screen and feature to reflect that.
More updates (and bug squashes) are on the way. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
Happy Computing,
Babble Baz
